Sign Language in San Francisco: A Stairwell's Field Trip for Open Engagement 2016
As part of Southern Exposure's Open House Tours (projects presented by past recipients of the Alternative Exposure Grant) Stairwell's leads an interactive group walking tour through the Mission District.
Highlighting the presence of stairs in even this mostly flat terrain, the Field Trip will include games, impromptu field recordings and stories of mistaken identity to expand collective understandings of place and the everyday.
This 90-minute outdoor group excursion is led by Stairwell's co-directors Sarah Hotchkiss and Carey Lin. We will meet at Southern Exposure beginning at 2:45 PM and depart promptly at 3 PM. Ticket price includes activity supplies and refreshments.
