The Oakland Slam's WIDE-Open-Mic
On Thursday June 14th the Oakland Slam returns once again to The Oasis with our unique brand of raucous entertainment. This time around we eschew the competition and concentrate on bringing you the best and brightest local comedic and poetic talent with no judges to get in the way. We'll stack the list with a few special guest Poets and Comics but the rest is up to YOU. If you've been aching to get on the mic for the first time or try out that new poem/set then this is perfect opportunity for you to do so with few of the normal restrictions you find in the Slam.
This is also Nazelah's B-Day show! Come wish the Bay's hostess wit the mostest a joyous solar return and see some of the Bay's best and brightest up and coming talent all for the low (LOW!) price of five dollars.
