About Bethanee Wright:
Bethanee Wright is an organic vegetable farmer, weightlifter, yogi, knitter, feminist, devourer of books and lover of the Earth. She owns the certified-organic Winterfell Acres CSA on 43 acres in Brooklyn, WI that she and her husband recently purchased. Beth grows over 200 different varieties of organic, heirloom produce marketed through her CSA and selling to local restaurants; she dreams of creating a permaculture paradise on their new property. Beth started Winterfell Acres in 2013 with the vision of giving her CSA members the opportunity to develop a relationship with the farmer who grows their food, the land that sustains them and the food that brings their family and friends together.
About Winterfell Acres:
Winterfell Acres was launched in 2013 by farmer Bethanee Wright, an organic-certified farm run by Bethanee Wright in Blanchardville, Wisconsin, dedicated to bringing you fresh, local and sustainably grown produce. Her dream is giving her CSA members access to developing a relationship with the farmer who grows their food, the land that sustains them and the food that brings their family and friends together. Winterfell Acres' land stewardship practices surpass those required by the National Organic Program and we are certified organic. Bethanee grows without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides and other chemicals. Instead, she utilizes sustainable practices such as living aisles, cover crops, low-tillage bed prep methods, mulches and crop rotation.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.
