Roller Derby Home Opener: Hammer City hosts London
The Hammer City Roller Girls kick off their 11th season in Hamilton with a double header against the Forest City Derby Girls of London, Ontario.
The Eh! Team takes on the Timer Rollers and the Harlots battle the B-Line.
JL Grightmire Arena, 35 Market Street South in Dundas is the place to be on April 30 to see it all go down. Doors open at 5:00 pm with the first game set to start at 6:00 pm and the second at 8:00 pm.
Essential info:
* The arena floor is licensed. Sit trackside with a beer in hand!
* Concession stand will be open for food and drinks
* Bring a lawn chair to sit trackside for the best view
* Kid-friendly event, with a special activity table just for them
* Awesome HCRG swag will be available to purchase
* Kids 13 and under are free
