Sex for Survivors: Thriving after Sexual Trauma or Abuse
Finding it difficult to be present during sex? Tuning out? This is a very common survival technique for anyone who has survived domestic violence, sexual abuse, sexual assault, and other forms of abuse and trauma.
Join Ducky Doolittle, herself a survivor and a Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention Counselor, as we explore ways of growing beyond the trauma. You are invited to discuss common issues survivors face or simply listen to inspiring ideas on how you might find more pleasure, become more conscious in your body, build confidence, bond with your partner, embrace your desires, and explore healing through touch in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Ducky and the staff and owner of Sugar believe every person who wants to attend this class should be able to do so regardless of their financial status. When you go to pay, you will need to pay at least $5. If you can pay more, please do so. Most of our workshops are $25. If you can't pay more than $5, please don't. Regardless of what you are able to pay, we're so glad that you're coming to this workshop. If you are unable to pay anything, please call the store to reserve your ticket.
