43rd Annual Historic Pullman House Tour
Since 1973, the Historic Pullman Foundation and the Pullman Civic Organization have co-sponsored the annual Pullman House Tour making this one of Chicago's oldest continuing tour of homes. Select homes are chosen each year to present a cross-section of the different types of housing built in the 1880's as part of the original Town of Pullman. Pullman is a City of Chicago, State of Illinois and U.S. Department of the Interior designated landmark district. On February 19, 2015 Pullman was a designated National Monument as a unit of the National Park System - Chicago's only National Park facility. While these landmarked Pullman houses maintain their historic details on the exterior, interiors reflect the style and taste of our modern residents including beautifully restored interiors as well as tasteful modern renovations.
Join our House Tour weekend celebration to see the Pullman National Monument- see great houses, exhibits and a video on the history of this unique landmark district, enjoy music, food, antique cars, garage sales and so much more. Advance tickets are $20(plus a small processing fee) if purchased on or before Thursday, October 6, and $23 if purchased on or after Friday, October 7, or at the door at the door. Tickets will be held for pick up at the Visitor Center (11141 S. Cottage Grove, Chicago) on either day starting at 10:30am. Houses will be open from 11:00am until 5:00pm. You can call the Visitor Center for more information. 773-785-8901 between 11-3 every day except Mondays.
