The Symphony in Hip Hop & African Themes
The Afro-American Chamber Music Society Orchestra will give a World Premiere of Marimba Concerto No. 1 featuring Robert Ball with highlights from Christmas Cantata "I'll Go" and the original musical: "Love, Here I Am" based on the life of Blind Tom Bethune.
Performers include: The Episcopal Chorale, Dr. Charles Cheatham, Director; Men's Chorus, Mr. Perry Hayes, Director; and Soloists: Bradley Baker, Donald Perry, Jennifer Lindsey, Sheila Judson, James Bryant, Michelle Blackman, Byron Motley and Barbara Sherrill, composer.
