Distilling for Homebrewers
The Shannons have newly opened their distillery in North Kansas City, and Benay will teaching us about the process, types of stills, clues from temperature and proof, and pitfalls. She will also discuss barrel aging.
Distilling at home for personal consumption is legal in Missouri. And, we have a sleek, 8 gallon stainless still you can use to get started in the craft, which we'll show you.
This class is on a Wednesday evening. Meet at Grain to Glass before 7 PM, and we will go as a group to learn! Class is limited to twelve.
