Mirth-O-Matics
Tragedy, comedy or contemporary culture? It makes no difference to the Mirth O Matics.
The troupe takes a suggestion from the audience from a range of subjects, and then creates a series of scenes and skits, using whatever is at hand. Scenes might include star-crossed lovers, dance song, sword fights, turkeys, politicians, rhyming couplets, disguises and asides from the audience.
The Mirth 'O' Matics have gained quite a bit of notoriety as the only troupe on the Central Coast to perform short form improv. They are known throughout the area for amazing ability to take audience suggestions and turn them into laugh-out-loud 3-5 minute skits. As usual, the show will feature plenty of audience participation so be sure to leave your inhibitions at the door.
