Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people how to assist others experiencing a crisis or a mental health challenge much like First Aid does for a medical emergency. Since its inception in 2001, MHFA has trained over 9,000 MHFA instructors and more than 500,000 Mental Health First Aiders in the USA. Mental Health First Aid is designed for adults (age 16 and up) such as: parents, teachers, school staff, coaches, youth group leaders, clergy, probation officers, court counselors, and non-licensed human service professionals.
Please plan to attend this 1-hour informational lunch and learn to hear about the course and how you can help to spread the word about this international evidence based program to your family, friends, church groups and civic organizations.
