LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE
LOVE,LOSS AND WHAT I WORE is the smash hit comedy/drama written by Nora Ephon and Delia Ephron based on the book by Ilene Beckerman. The play is a collection of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memories covering all the important moments of a female's life--mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why women gravitate toward wearing black. River City Rep partners with the local "Dress for Success" organization as a joint fundraiser. Ensembles donated by area boutiques and stores will be displayed in the lobby for the three performances. Audience members can underwrite entire outfits or pieces of each ensemble. The clothing will then go to "Dress for Success" to help women reentering the work force.
