Screaming Females
SCREAMING FEMALES Screaming Females seven years as a band, four full-length albums and 700 globe-spanning live shows has made them difficult to miss. Through it all, the New Brunswick, New Jersey trio have continued to exude a frenetic energy which is built upon the zeitgeist of Americas punk and indie underground yet has always remained forward-looking. Fittingly, for Screaming Females 5th album Ugly, the band enlisted legendary recording engineer Steve Albini, famed for his unique ability to capture the ferociousness of a live performance while delivering gorgeous sonic clarity.
AYE NAKO Aye Nako are a DIY punk band from Brooklyn, NY. The band originated in 2010 and promotes a "community-oriented, anti-capitalist, LGBTQ-friendly ideology." After self releasing a well received debut album Unleash Yourself in 2015, they released The Blackest Eye on Don Giovanni Records.
ALRIGHT Charlotte, NC fuzzy pop/punk trio on Self Aware/Negative Fun Records including members of Faye, Late Bloomer & Earth Mover. CLTure says "they are capable of making the listener feel nostalgic and riled up all at once with their energy and a summer-flannel sound that would make Angela Chase or even Lelaina Pierce a fan upon first listen."
