The Semi-finalists are in and it's time to judge away!

Please come and celebrate our 12 amazing vocalists who have made it to the Semi-Finals. Audience participation will help us choose our finalists, so buy your ticket now to make a difference!

Arts at the Armory and Gordon Michaels are proud to present the 2012 Reaching for the Stars competition! This high-intensity, serious performance series will take place over 4 weeks of auditions (25 contestants per week) and will be followed by semi-finals (12 participants) and finals (6 participants).

Three winners will be chosen each week for a total of 12 voices moving on to the semi- finals. Six amazing contestants will be selected for the finals, to be performed in the gorgeous Performance Hall at Arts at the Armory. Three winners will be selected, with the first place winner receiving $500.00 and a two song demo recording at a professional studio . The winner of the competition will also have the chance to perform a one hour concert at the Arts at the Armory Cafe. The second prize winner will receive $100.00 and two free 45 minute voice lessons with Gordon Michaels. Third prize will receive a gift certificate to the delicious Arts at the Armory Cafe. There will be a panel of three judges for this competition - Have you heard of Gordon Michaels, Jimmy Delponte and Holli Banks? Well get ready for them to judge you!
