Juanito Pascual New Flamenco Trio
OCA is pleased to host one of the top flamenco guitarists on the international music scene today: Juanito Pascual, now touring the west coast with a powerhouse trio featuring bassist Brad Barrett and Grammy-nominated percussionist Tupac Mantilla. Juanito has performed at renowned venues in the U.S. as well as international festivals in Mexico, Panama, and Spain, where he frequently collaborates with celebrated Spanish dancer Elena Andujar and a host of other international artists. With a passion to share the soul-stirring beauty of Flamenco as a vibrant and still evolving musical tradition, Juanito is also an accomplished composer, arranger and producer who has just scored the documentary (#1 film in Italy) soon to be released in the U.S. about the Pope (Call Me Francisco). Environmental steward-ship is another of his passions (Junglewood Panamanian rainforest project) as he uses music to inspire and educate.
