Hell is Empty and All the Devils are Here is a raucous, biting, satirical view of the extraordinary election cycle of 2016, and the unexpected rise to power of Donald Drumpf. In a divided and fearful country, where the media feeds on sensationalism and high drama, this master of manipulation throws a real monkey wrench into the political process: he calls upon the occupants of Hell to escape and help him fan the flames of chaos above.
Inhabited by the likes of Hillary as Brunhilde, Clowns as Valkyries, our old friend Sarah Palin, Ted "Dracula" Cruz, and a cast of outrageously wacky characters, Hell looks at the election through the lens of a fun house mirror. Interacts radically inclusive cast packs a political punch with a hard-hitting comedy that will have you side-splitting laughing, even while you know its really not all that funny.
Hell features actor Jeffery Haas as Bernie Sanders, Ana Maria Koutsostamatis as Ted Cruz, Taous Khazem as Sarah Palin, Aaron Gabriel as Donald Drumpf, and guest artist Shanan Custer as Hillary Clinton. Directed by Jeanne Calvit, Interact Artistic Director, and created by the entire Interact ensemble.
