Join Yarn Bombing Los Angeles to decorate the History Center in celebration of the exhibition Strings Attached: Contemporary Woven Art. Yarn bombing is a relatively recent form of street art that employs colorful displays of knits or crochet and other fiber material instead of paint in public space.
Pasadena Museum of History is partnering with Yarn Bombing Los Angeles, a fiber arts community that collaborates with local institutions to create thought-provoking, community-generated public art installations. Learn more at www.yarnbombinglosangeles.com
Participate in this tactile, spontaneous art installation inspired by the current textile exhibitions. No skills required. Bring cast off projects or left over yarn to add to the installation or just show up! All ages can participate. Free gallery admission.
