The terms "integrated care", "collaborative care" and "whole-person care" are used frequently as buzzwords without a lot of explanation or pause for reflection. What do these terms actually mean? What kind of systemic changes do they call for and how does that impact each of us in our respective positions?
This workshop will give an overview of what integrated, collaborative, and whole-person care are and how they pertain to our state, organization, and individual roles and responsibilities. After participating in this workshop, individuals will:
Understand what integrated, collaborative and whole-person care are
Learn about integrated care initiatives taking place on a state and organizational level
Explore the departmental and position level implications of integrated care and related initiatives.
Content will be introductory level and members from all departments and positions are welcome!
