Newport Art Deco Weekend!

The Greater Boston Vintage Society invites you to celebrate the 1920s - 40s with its first annual Newport Art Deco Weekend! This event will take place at Salve Regina University's amazing Fairlawn Estate (aka Pell Center/Young Building). This beautiful estate was built in the 1850s and used as a private residence for most of its life until being converted for school and college use. With grand ballrooms and a vast lawn on Bellevue Ave, it is the perfect place to experience life in the art deco age. Period style outfits are suggested but not required.

The weekend will consist of many themed activities and classes. Saturday will have a series of workshops followed by a live band black-tie ball with Dan Gabel and the Abletones! Performances and a cash bar are included with the evening's show. Sunday, guests can return to take a (discounted rate) tour of the Newport mansions!
