Robert McChesney & John Nichols in Boulder
Robert McChesney is an American professor at the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign as the Gutgsell Endowed Professor in the Department of Communication. He specializes in the history and political economy of communication, and the role media play in democratic and capitalist societies.
John Nichols is a progressive American journalist and author. He is Washington correspondent for The Nation and associate editor of The Capital Times. Books authored or co-authored by Nichols include The Genius of Impeachment and The Death and Life of American Journalism.
KGNU Community Radio and Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center are very excited to welcome Robert W. McChesney and John Nichols to the First Congregational Church UCC Boulder on Thursday April 14th to speak about their new book People Get Ready: The Fight Against a Jobless Economy and a Citizenless Democracy.
