UNFOLDING PEACE
The AWC closes the season with a focus on peace, both inner and in our world. The concert will feature a commissioned work in honor of Catherine Roma, founder of MUSE, which the AWC will perform with other women's choruses at the 2016 international GALA Choruses Festival (the AWC's debut at this quadrennial event). The selections, many familiar, including "Imagine," "What a Wonderful World," Sara Bareilles' "Brave," and Sheryl Crow's "Safe & Sound", will honor our struggles through adversity as we imagine peace for all.
