Make a Raspberry Pi into a Anonymizing Tor Proxy!
Come create tor routers with raspberry pis with technologist and education Stefania Druga! This workshop is open to creators of all levels, all you need is a computer. Stefania will walk you through creating your very own Tor router with a raspberry pi. Come learn about encryption and hardware hacking with one of the best!

These materials will be provided for students: Raspberry Pi model B+ (or B) - Ethernet is required Ethernet cable WiFi adapter - Not all WiFi adapters work, we know for sure it works with the ones in the Adafruit shop! SD Card (4GB or greater) with Raspbian on it. You can either copy the Raspbian image onto it or buy a ready-made Raspbian card Power supply for your Pi USB Console cable (optional) - this makes it a little easier to debug the system Case for your Pi (optional) A SD or MicroSD card reader (optional)
Stefania Druga: Innately curious and passionate about creating and testing new learning models, instructional designer by training, evolved into a learning architect and is currently a graduate student at MIT Media Lab Livelong Kindergarden group. Stefania is also a former Googler and graduated from an international Erasmus Mundus master of Media Engineering for Education (France, Spain, Portugal). In the summer of 2012 she was also the Education Teaching Fellow at Singularity University where she advised and coached 80 students from 36 countries. Currently she is leading Hackidemia organization (mobile lab for maker Education present in 40 countries), Afrimakers (community of Maker projects in 10 Africa countries) and MakerCamp (global camps for learning how to build and run makerspaces) Stefania is also an an ambassador for global MakerFaire in Berlin and Shenzhen and is preparing a new kit for maker education in schools.
