Engineering Ethics Seminar
The Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers are proud to host a 1 hour engineering ethics seminar to take place on May 19th, 2016 from 10:00am to 11:15am in Room 7 at the Petroleum Club in Midland, Texas.  

Doug Walser will be speaking, and his presentation is titled "Vendors and Operators --- Avoiding the Slippery Slopes on Both Sides when the Rules are not Clear".  

Doug has extensive (33 years) Permian Basin, Mid-continent, Appalachia, Rockies, and South Texas experience with Pinnacle, Dowell Schlumberger, The Western Company of North America, and BJ Services.  He has specialized in the calibration of three-dimensional fracture modeling via a number of methods, including historical production transient analysis and calibration by various fracture mapping processes.  He has taught numerous seminars and short courses on subjects related to his fields of interest, including Mini-frac Evaluation, 3-D Pressure Matching, On-Location Stimulation QC, Microseismicity, Fracturing Situations, Horizontal Completion Best Practices, Fracture Mapping Techniques, and others.  Most recently, he has specialized in the examination and comparison of the various emerging resource plays in North America, and more specifically, plays with liquid hydrocarbons.  He has authored 15 papers, and holds 4 patents in his areas of interest.  He holds a B.S. in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&I University, and has worked for Pinnacle for the last 11 years.  

Certificates Of Completion will be emailed after the seminar ends to the email address you provide at checkout.  

You may pay at the door the morning of, as long as space permits.  Seating will be held for all paid registrants.  

Refreshments and snacks will be available in the back of the conference room.  Lunch will not be provided.
