Ted Falcon and Eduardo Souza Berkeley Home Concert
This is a home concert in North Berkeley of Brazilian music, featuring the Ted Falcon, violin, and Eduardo Souza, guitar, Duo, from Brasilia, Brasil. Ted is an American who has been living in Brazil and performing and teaching there for 10 years. The duo will be joined by members of Berkeley Choro Ensemble: Jane Lenoir, flute, Harvey Wainapel, clarinet, Ricardo Peixoto, 7-string Brazilian guitar, Kiko Lazzarotto, cavaquinho, and Brian Rice, percussion. Ted has built a reputation as one of the outstanding performers of Brazilian choro. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in jazz violin, and is a diverse player in many styles. He is teaching at the Port Townsend Choro Workshop in Washington in April.
