Chateau de Lomaland: An Evening of Radical Beer & Wine
We're ridiculously psyched to finally make our beer available in California's wine country, and we're celebrating with an incredible evening of beer & wine pairings at the Lomaland Fermentorium. We'll be pouring some absolutely stunning wines from up north and pairing them with special, wine-barrel aged beers, plus we'll have some tasty snacks on hand from our friends at Prager Brothers bread to both cleanse and please your palate. Here are the current details:
When: April 10th, 5-9PM
Beer and Wine List:
- Modern Times Looking Backward - White Wine Barrel-aged sour blond paired with A Tribute to Grace 2015 Rosé (Grenache) Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard, CA
- Avery Spontanea - brewed with Cabernet Sauvignon grape must & aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels paired with Ovum 2014 'In The Dark' Gewürztraminer, Gerber Vineyard, Illinois Valley, OR
- Allagash Evora - Golden Ale aged in Brandy Barrels with Brettanomyces paired with Wind Gap 2014 'Soif' Red Blend, North Coast, CA
- Almanac Farmer's Reserve Grand Cru - Sour blond aged in french oak with muscat grapes added paired with Harrington 2013 Charbono, Fratelli Vineyard, Santa Clara Co., CA
In addition to this dazzling list of meticulously paired beverages, we'll have some special offerings on hand from Prager Brothers Artisan Bread, including a Lomaland Saison Pretzel, a ciabatta with rosemary, olive, and lemon zest, and a fruit and nut bread made with Black House.
Your $45 ticket includes two super-sexy keeper glasses in which you will be enjoying a 4oz pour of each beer as well a 3oz pour of each of the corresponding wines. Information about each beer and wine pairing will also be provided.
