Distinguished Peacebuilder Series: Michael Dukakis
Kicking off Massachusetts Peace Action's spring Speaker Series is the Michael Dukakis with his lecture, Subways or Submarines? Changing our Nations Priorities from Endless War to Prosperity.
Michael Dukakis was governor of Massachusetts from 1975 to 1979 and 1983 to 1991. He was the Democratic nominee for President in 1988 and is currently a Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Northeastern University and UCLA. He is the author of How to Get into Politics and Why, with U.S. Senator Paul Simon.
