June 18 - Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival
Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail is proud to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the picturesque Weko Beach. Thousands of guests from all over the Midwest are invited to enjoy a beautiful summer solstice with countless award-winning Michigan wines, fantastic live entertainment, dazzling beach views and much more. Presented by Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail and Southwest Michigan Tourist Council, in conjunction with The Greater Bridgman Area Chamber and Growth Alliance, this popular event will take place from 1 to 10 p.m. Eastern Time, under a Big-Top Tent. Over 4,000 guests are expected to attend and sample all of the wonderful Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail's locally-grown-and-produced varietals. Delicious cuisine from a local caterer will be available for wine aficionados and the entire family!
An eclectic musical line-up includes: Catfight, Duke Tumatoe, Slim Gypsy Baggage, The Right Now and Dogpatch Ramblers.
Like the hills of California, the land of Southwest Michigan is ideal for handcrafting fine wines. Acclaimed wineries in attendance at the festival include: 12 Corners Vineyards, Cody Kresta, Cogdal Vineyard, Contessa Wine Cellars, Domaine Berrien Cellars, Fenn Valley Vineyard, Founders Wine Cellar, Free Run Cellars, Gravity, Hickory Creek Winery, Karma Vista Winery, Lawton Ridge Winery, Lemon Creek Winery, Round Barn Winery, Tabor Hill Winery and Warner Vineyards.

Bridgman, MI is a small community on the shores of Lake Michigan and for the past ten years the Wine Fest has become its signature annual event. Every June, the event doubles the population of Bridgman and showcases the beach, commerce, vineyards and orchards. It is an alliance of the Greater Bridgman Area Chamber of Commerce and Growth Alliance, the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail and Traffic PR & Marketing that makes the event a great way to kick-off the summer season.
