Revel in the profound beauty and history of one of the most magnificent places in Georgia with the Monastery of the Holy Spirit Architectural Tour.
A trained docent starts this journey weaving the history, design, and construction of this remarkable Trappist community with a visit to the Visitors Center, the restored historic barn, and the Bonsai Garden. Strolling along the Prayer Path, participants proceed to the stunning Abbey Church built by monks over a ten-year period to explore the design and history of this architectural marvel. The tour culminates with a discovery of the historical and environmentally-friendly features of the open-air cloister, the elegant Abbey Cafe, and the enchanting Abbey Store. Proceeds from this tour will be donated to a local community food bank.
