The Laugh Lounge Presents: Myq Kaplan with Nick Lavallee, Josh Day and Host Sean Tumblety
Myq Kaplan:
Myq Kaplan is a comedian named Myq Kaplan (pronounced Mike). He is a 2010 Last Comic Standing Finalist and has appeared on the Tonight Show with Conan OBrien, the Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, and all the other places hes been. You can listen to Myqs podcast, Hang Out With Me, on the Keith and The Girl network. His debut CD, Vegan Mind Meld, was one of iTunes top ten best-selling comedy albums in 2010, followed by Meat Robot in 2013 and his one-hour Netflix special Small Dork and Handsome in 2014.
The Comedians magazine calls him a comedy machine, in the best possible way. the way that some machines vend soda or prevent other machines from killing future revolutionaries thats how Myq Kaplan does comedy: relentlessly, methodically, unblinkingly.
Nick Lavallee:
Nick Lavallee is a comedian from the State of New Hampshire. Despite what some believe, it's not a province of Canada.
Lavallee's latest album, "The Other Dude", consists of musical comedy, stand up performances and their accompanied videos on the DVD. Lavallee has appeared alongside Sally Struthers in "I Love You, Sally Struthers", meaning your mom will also like him, if she's okay with his naughty language. Voted "Best Comedian" in 2010, 2011 and 2014 by readers of New Hampshire's Hippo Press, his earlier albums debuted in the top 50 of iTunes Comedy charts.
Nick's online content has been featured on the front page's of Funny or Die, Rooftop Comedy and the Boston Comedy Examiner. Lavallee has performed opening spots for such national headliners as Comedy Central's Bo Burnham and Maine's King of Comedy, Bob Marley. In 2012, Lavallee solidified himself as a national act by appearing the Laugh Factory in Las Vegas and Hollywood upon personal request from the club's owner, Jamie Masada.
Josh Day:
A NH native, Josh has been doing stand up since a near fatal injury convinced him to just take a shot and go for something he always wanted, but was too scared to try. Since then he has been in the Maine Comedy Festival twice. Hampton Beach Comedy festival 3 years running and opened all over New England for Don Gavin, Juston McKinney and Dave Attell. His one liners and skewed view of the world will leave you laughing and questioning your existence.
