A Ticketed Signing with Felicia Day at Boswell Book Company
Please join us for a ticketed signing with queen of the geeks and bestselling author, Felicia Day, signing copies of You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost), a relentlessly funny and surprisingly inspirational memoir about her unusual upbringing, her rise to internet stardom, and embracing her weirdness to find her place in the world.
Tickets are $17 each, include all taxes and fees, admission for one to the signing line, a paperback copy of You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost), and can be purchased from the Brown Paper Tickets website. Ms. Day will sign copies of You're Never Weird on the Internet and, time permitting, is happy to personalize your copy of her memoir. Everyone who wants one gets a photo, and Day will sign one piece of memorabilia.
Felicia Days rags-to-riches rise to Internet fame launched her career as one of the most influential creators in new media. Ever candid, in You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost), she opens up about the rough patches along the way, recounting battles with writer's block, a full-blown gaming addiction, severe anxiety, and depression, and how she reinvented herself when overachieving became overwhelming. Showcasing her engaging and often hilarious voice (USA Today), Youre Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) is proof that everyone should celebrate what makes them different and be brave enough to share it with the world, because anything is possible now even for a digital misfit.
About the Author: Felicia Day is a professional actress who has appeared in numerous mainstream television shows and films, currently recurring on the CW show Supernatural, and recently completing a two-season arc on the SyFy series Eureka. She co-starred in Joss Whedons Internet musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. She also created and stars in the hit web series The Guild, which is currently in its sixth season. Her production company Knights of Good produced the innovative web series Dragon Age in conjunction with EA/Bioware in 2011 and in 2012 she launched a funded YouTube channel called Geek & Sundry.
