Sustainable Development & Hot-Dip Galvanizing
The Sustainable Development & Hot-Dip Galvanizing seminar provides an in-depth analysis of the sustainable aspects of hot-dip galvanizing. Seminar content includes zinc and the environment, LEED, life-cycle assessment (LCA), life-cycle cost (LCC), environmental and economic case study comparisons, and much more.
1.Understand sustainability terms and methods.
2.Identify environmental costs (primary energy demand, global warming potential, etc.) for hot-dip galvanized steel from production through end-of-life.
3.Decipher the environmental differences between painted steel and galvanized steel.
4. Incorporate life-cycle cost analysis into the evaluation of steel corrosion protection methods.
