Throughout time, man's destiny has been shaped by the search for the elusive spices coveted by nobility and royalty. The history of the spice trade reveals fascinating tales of piracy, adventures and wars battled to dominate the spice trade routes. Spice merchants Dame Patty Erd and her husband Tom Erd have spent their lives in pursuit of the world's highest-quality spices. This dynamic duo will share interesting historical facts, anecdotes and entertaining spice tales.
