Dr Sketchy's SF presents the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence!
We're welcoming the incomparable Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence back for the SEVENTH year! Please join us for an extremely fun night of drawing with Sister MaeJoy B. with U and friends.
Who are the Sisters?
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a leading-edge Order of queer nuns. Since our first appearance in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, 1979, the Sisters have devoted ourselves to community service, ministry and outreach to those on the edges, and to promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment. We believe all people have a right to express their unique joy and beauty and we use humor and irreverent wit to expose the forces of bigotry, complacency and guilt that chain the human spirit.

Since 2005, Dr. Sketchy's has been the name in alternative drawing. Dr. Sketchy's is the brainchild of artist Molly Crabapple.
In San Francisco, we have a strong commitment to community. We believe that making art is about finding a great place to practice, with a community of like-minded folks. We celebrate our sometimes indescribable and important local culture. We get excited about our models and we hope that our excitement inspires the artists who attend.
