Looking to get involved in one of fastest growing sports in the world? Want to know everything there is to becoming a derby girl? Durham Region Roller Derby is hosting a 10-week training camp just for you!
All women 18+ are welcome to train as skaters and both men and women are welcome to train as referees.
Training/practices will take place EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT at Coachlite Roller Gardens, 88 King St W, Oshawa from 7pm to 9pm, starting Sunday August 21th, 2016.
Cost is $150 and includes your first 3 months of insurance coverage.
You can pay in person at one of our Meat & Greet events before the Training Camp begins or online at Brown Paper Tickets.
The following Meat & Great dates offer you an opportunity to meet our gear vendors and get the skates and equipment you need to play roller derby. It is mandatory for you to have gear including roller skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards and a helmet by week 2 at the very latest. Ideally, you should be ready to go by week one.

Thursday, April 21st at Coachlite 7:30pm Come watch a scrimmage and see what derby is all about!
Thursday, May 12th at Coachlite 7:30pm Come watch a scrimmage, meet trainers and skaters, get your gear and sign up!
Thursday, June 2nd at Coachlite 7:30pm Come watch a scrimmage , meet trainers and skaters, get your gear and sign up!
