Saturday Family Concerts: Vagabond Opera
Vagabond Opera delivers a magical blend of Bohemian cabaret, Paris hot jazz, swing, tango, Ukranian folk-punk ballads, and Klezmer, with elements of Kurt Weil, Duke Ellington, and Edith Piaf thrown in the mix. The classically trained members of the troupe liberate opera from its usual construct through theatrical performances in eleven different languages. Presented with the Seattle International Children's Festival and sponsored by KEXP 90.3FM and ParentMap. This concert is appropriate for children 6 and older.
