Completely Impossible Potter Trivia - Book One
Join us for a magical evening where you can test your HP knowledge against other aspiring witches and wizards. Teams of up to seven players will compete for the grand prize as well as bragging rights as New York's ultimate Potterheads. There will also be prizes for the winners of each round as well as a door prize, a costume contest, and other magical merch for sale.
This event is FREE to enter but we do ask that you spend at least $20 in food and drink - the venue donates 10% of everything spent on the night to the NYDA, so the more you spend, the more we get! All funds will be going to ship books through Books for Africa to build a library for the Good Shepherd School with our fellow chapter, Masaka's Chapter, in Uganda, Africa.
This is not for your Crabbes, your Goyles, your first-year Nevilles. It's for your Snapes, your Lilys, your seventh-year Nevilles. This is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Book One, only! No movies, no Pottermore, and none of the other books. This is N.E.W.T.-level, old-school stuff, baby, so brush up.
Every player should register individually through Brown Paper Tickets. Any leftover spots or no-shows will be first come, first served at the door. Doors are at 6:30 for dinner and drinks and trivia starts promptly at 7:30. Now, knock those Wrackspurts out from between your ears, and see if you're up to snuff(les) with the NYDA on March 13th!
