Spring Has Sprung! A classical voice recital with Maya Goell, Emilie Suarez and Sam Siegel. Join us for an evening of beautiful classical music with piano accompanist Richard Riccardi.
Gourmet desserts and drinks will be served at intermission. All proceeds help cover costs, as well as supporting the tuitions for the UBC Summer Voice Camp in July.

Sam Siegel, Bay Area countertenor, currently attends the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. Most recently, he was awarded the Gold Level Award from the prestigious National YoungArts Foundation. In 2015, he was awarded two first-place prizes in the SF Bay Area NATS Competition, and traveled to Boston and Chicago for the Classical Singer Vocal Competition. He recently participated in the 2015 UBC Vocal Workshop in Vancouver. Sam made his opera debut in Handels Serse with SOTA Vocal in San Francisco. He has performed in New York, Brazil, Spain, China, South Africa, and Russia with School of the Arts Vocal Concert Choir and Pacific Boychoir Academy. https://pages.groupmuse.com/sam-siegel
Maya Goell, age 16, is a soprano at the San Francisco school of the Arts. She recently appeared as Atalanta in Serse and as a soloist in Bernstein's Chichester psalms. She is a Youngarts merit winner and has placed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition for the past two years in aria and art song. She sang with the San Francisco Conservatory in the Summer Music West program for four years. She currently sings in the SOTA chamber choir, Concert Choir, and Treble Choir as well as St. Luke's Children's Choir.
Emilie Suarez, Bay Area soprano, is currently in her second year in the Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts Classical Voice Department. In 2016, Emilie won first place in her division at the SF NATS Festival Competition Auditions. In 2015, she recieved a merit award from the National YoungArts Foundation, which advances her opportunities in next year's competition. She also made it through the first round of the National Classical Singer Competition and will be traveling to Boston in May to compete in the second round. Emilie has attended the University of British Columbia Summer Voice Workshop in Vancouver and has plans to attend the workshop again this summer. In the Fall of 2015, Emilie performed the role of Romilda in an abridged version of Handel's Serse with the SOTA Vocal Department. Emilie currently studies with Rhoslyn Jones.
