Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth premieres The Skylark, an original musical by Steve Barnes, featuring a cast of 21 familiar performers from within BAAYs highly active student community.
A civilization has achieved peace, once and for all. Adults and children care for each other, devote their lives to craftsmanship and the environment, and derive abundance from the land. And Lamarque a gifted young planter is about to become an adult and begin his apprenticeship.
At least, thats what everyone expects.
Meanwhile, rumors of ghosts seem oddly frequent. A forgotten stranger's fascination with pie lurks at the sidelines. And an unexpected friendship threatens to change everything.
