The Women's Film Festival 2016: A Queer Country
A Queer Country Runtime: 73 min
Israel, a country synonymous with war, conflict and religion is also fast becoming the LGBT capital of the world. This film explores this extraordinary contradiction. It investigates the thriving gay scene in Tel Aviv that has now become host to one of the world's largest pride parades and explores the wider political implications of the government's tolerance towards the LGBT community and vitally how this impacts the psyche of the country.
Producer, Harriet Davies and Director, Lisa Morganthau may be in attendance to do a Q&A session.
