Marketplace Missions Training

An inter-denominational project, equipping spiritual leaders and lay people from Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley to take spirituality to their local marketplace.

WHO can join? Anyone who feels like a fish on dry land because there is little to no missions happening locally. Whatever your talent is (praying, speaking, singing, playing a instrument, drama, art, etc.) if you have the call for local missions and the commitment of your heart, we will find a place for you in our teams. Here is how it works:

1. We meet every second Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 pm for three months (March 2, 16, 30; April 13, 27; May 11, 25/2016) to define the vision and understand the basic principles of missions in a pluralistic world. We will post separate event listings for each date, PLEASE RSVP each time you come so we can ensure access to a large enough room.

2. We rotate practicing teamwork at a local market over the following three months (Sundays 5:00-6:00, in June, July and August 2016), which has opened its stage for a Sunday service this summer.

3. Participants regroup for long-term Marketplace Missions Teams, based on their geographical areas, and continue the ministry in their own area. We will keep communication by email for mutual support and sometimes joining other teams in their ministry. Monthly vision meetings will also be available to keep the Great Commitment happening.
