Learn the Magic of Cooking! Local Three brings you the "Hogwarts of Cooking Classes." Instead wielding a wand, you'll use knives; and instead of learning spells and potions, you'll learn how to master the kitchen.
The Local Three team is hosting one cooking workshop each month, and our chefs will share their knowledge and skills with you. Coming up this year: Chef Hall will teach you about designing menus and take you shopping at a market, Chef Ben will dive into Home Butchery 101, Chef Gary will show you how to make irresistible pastries, and we've got so much more planned!
This April, Chef de Cuisine Ben Barth will teach a class on Home Butchery 101. You will learn to breakdown a whole flounder, chicken, and hangar steak, and how to use the scraps and bones.
After the class, you'll invite a guest to join you for a private lunch to enjoy all of the dishes you've worked hard on! You'll both enjoy beverages from Local Three's bar while you dine.
LUNCH MENU - Crudo of North Carolina Flounder- jalapeno, radish, orange, sea salt, basil - Buttermilk Fried Chicken- thin beans, hot sauce, honey - Roasted Angus Hangar Steak- creamy polenta, squash, zucchini, pistou - Strawberry Shortcake
Only ten spaces are available for each class, and the ticket price includes the class, lunch for two (with booze), and a custom apron (plus tax and gratuity are included).
