Young Frederick Douglass
"Young Frederick Douglass" by Walt Vail is an inspirational story of the young life of Frederick Douglass as he strives to learn and be free in spite of the many obstacles against him. Douglass shows his tenacity and determination while still in his state of bondage, leading to his eventual escape from slavery's clutches.
This play is narrated by the older Douglass played by Kamili Feelings and features Malachi Holmes as the younger Douglass. Directed by John Mullany.
