GENERATIONS
For more than seven years, Genesis Repertory's arts training ground, The M Center for the Arts, presents a concert of its masters students. What began as a small end-of-term presentation at a church basement under the highway in Bay Ridge Brooklyn has grown to a much-anticipated, celebrated, and acclaimed musical event.
This year, the concert has grown into a group of three original one-acts with original music mixed into the usual group of standards and showtunes.
The showcase production this year will be at the legendary 13th Street Repertory Theatre (home of the longest running off-off Broadway show, LINE).
Once again, Founder and Chief Musical Instructor, Mary Elizabeth Micari produces the event with musical direction by Mason Griffin (Naked Boys Singing, The Adding Machine) and directed by stage and film veteran, Jay Michaels.
