PAC Out of the Box - Idea Lounge at Lagunitas
The Petaluma Arts Center's new program PAC Out of the Box, feature collaborative activities that take place literally and figuratively outside the walls of the Arts Center and outside the typical art exhibition. First up is an exciting series of talks with a twist: the Idea Lounge. Imagine two speakers: one from the arts, one not. THE AUDIENCE discovers what they have in common, revealing the connections between art and life.
Naturally, the first talk falls on St. Patricks Day, at a brewery. What good fortune! Representing art is Eric Adams, a screenwriter, whose topic is "What makes a great film great?". Representing life is Bradford Rex, a boat racer, whose topic is "Getting from A to B in Someone Else's Boat".
The Idea Lounge will take place at Lagunitas Brewing Company, in their new Lounge space, every third Thursday from March through August. Join us at 6:30 for socializing, then grab a seat at 7:00pm for an hour of unpredictable fun. Tickets are $15 and may only be purchased in advance through Brown Paper Tickets. Only 50 seats available. Lagunitas Lounge is located on the north end of the property in the Bibbero building 1300 N. McDowell Blvd, Petaluma, 94954.
