Coding 0 to 1 with Luisa Pereira
In this three-hour, hands-on workshop, we will introduce the building blocks of computer programming by creating visual compositions using p5.js. As you draw repeating, translucent, mouse-following rectangles, lines, and circles, you will learn about variables, loops, if statements, and interactivity. This workshop is designed especially for beginners, 0 programming experience is expected. However, there will be preparatory assignments.
Luisa Pereira is an artist, programmer, and musician based in New York City. Her work often explores music through coding and design, taking the form of interactive installations, generative devices, sculptures and prints.
