Belgian Fest 2016

Head our way for our second annual Stone Belgian Fest at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station. With lambics, gueuzes, dubbels, tripels, quadrupels, wits, saisons and Flanders-style red ales at your fingertips, you won't know whether you're in Brussels, Bruges or San Diego.
We will have a wide selection of Belgian and Belgian-style beers, including our own Belgian-inspired creations, for you to choose from.
Your $65 ticket includes:
- Fifteen 3oz tasters
- Commemorative glass
- Belgian-inspired dishes
- All beers are on draft
We will be tapping the last keg of Stone 03.03.03 Vertical Epic Ale for our Belgian Fest fans! Don't miss the final opportunity to try this fantastic beer.
Food stations will be set up throughout the gardens, with tray-passed dishes offered:
Food Stations (NOON - 2PM)
Flemish Carbonnade - Caramelized onions and beer-braised Belgian beef served with frites
Saucisse de Choux - Cabbage and pork sausage
Frites - Fried potatoes
Stoemp - Root vegetable mash
Green & White Asparagus - Fresh green & white asparagus with hard-cooked eggs, herbs and hollandaise
Poussin à la Brabançonne - Rich casserole of game hen with Belgium endive and bacon
Waffle Bar - Build your own waffle sundae with numerous choices of toppings
Tray-Passed (AT 2PM)
Croquettes - Thick, creamy beer cheese filling fried until golden
Kohlrouladen - Herbed and minced beef rolled in cabbage leaves
Chicken Pâté - Chicken liver pâté served on a crostini
Dessert Station ( AT 2:30PM)
Apfelstrudel - Traditional apple strudel
Belgian Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Tart - Belgian chocolate tart with raspberry filling
We are thrilled to give festival guests first shot at first pours of a new beer the day before it starts arriving on shelves and draft. Stone brewers Alex Rodriguez and Brandon Jacobs emerged as winners of the 2016 Stone Spotlight Series by masterfully blending elements of a Belgian wit, Finnish sahti and medieval gruit into a bold, big-character creation. Its called Scrü Wit.
