Behind the Scenes Tour of Norwalk Collects: Celebrating Four Historic Collections
Get an insiders look at life behind the exhibit! Award-winning curator, Elizabeth Pratt Fox, will take you on a journey behind the scenes of one of her newest installations, Norwalk Collects: Celebrating Four Historic Collections. The exhibit celebrates the collections of the Norwalk Historical Society, Norwalk-Village Green Chapter of the DAR, Lockwood family, and the City of Norwalk.
Learn about the planning and process that went into curating the exhibit. Discover how the objects were selected to tell a specific story and hear never-before-told stories about some of the rare pieces included in the collection.
About Elizabeth Pratt Fox
Elizabeth Pratt Fox has assisted institutions with exhibition planning and implementation; institutional assessments and planning; and collection assessment. Prior to forming her consulting company in 1997, she worked at the Yale University Art Gallery, Connecticut Landmarks, Wadsworth Atheneum and The Connecticut Historical Society. She holds a B.F.A. from the University of Oklahoma and a M.A. in Art History from Tulane University.
