The Okee Dokee Brothers - Saddle Up Movie Premiere
Saddle Up! Joe and Justin have traded their paddles for saddles and their hiking boots for cowboy boots. In June of 2015, The Okee Dokee Brothers went out West for a month-long horsepacking trip along the Continental Divide. They rode horses, camped out, told stories, and wrote songs. The new tunes cover western wildlife (Jackalope), Navajo stories (Sister Moon and Brother Sun), the Spanglish of the southwest (Somos Amigos), friendship (The Great Divide), and much more. Theres plenty of room at the campfire, so gather round and tell us a good one! Saddle Up is the third CD/DVD in The Okee Dokee Brothers Adventure Album Series.
This event is the world-premiere of The Okee Dokee Brothers' new video. The documentary film tells the story of The Okee Dokee Brothers' travels while including educational segments, camping shenanigans, music videos, interviews with locals, pristine nature scenes, and comprehensive tomfoolery. All the horseback riding, camping, and songwriting footage was filmed on location in the Great American West.
Joe and Justin will perform a few new songs from the album before the film, and then host a "Question and Answer" portion afterwards.
