Executive Director and Board Chair Meeting
We are planning an Executive Director and Board Chair meeting for March 18th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. that will feature a panel discussion on bequests. The meeting will be held at the Mill Woods Seniors and Multicultural Centre located on the 2nd Floor of 2610 Hewes Way (above the Mill Woods Public Library). The first half of the meeting will feature speakers and discussion on the topic and we will set aside some time after for a topic discussions you wish to raise.
What do seniors organizations need to know to facilitate bequests from their members and clients?
Marilyn Monson of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) Alberta North Chapter will explain the types of bequests, outline the ethics involved and discuss what organizations can do to raise awareness of bequest opportunities.
Hugh Newell from the North Edmonton Seniors Association (NESA) will share NESAs experience with receiving a bequest.
