H.P. Lovecraft: "I Am Providence" Walking Tour
To mark the anniversary of H.P. Lovecraft's death on March 15, 1937, as well as the release of Narragansett Beer's I Am Providence Imperial Red Ale, the Rhode Island Historical Society presents a special edition of our H.P. Lovecraft: A Literary Life walking tour on the East Side of Providence.
Tour groups will launch from the John Brown House Museum (52 Power St.) at 1pm on Saturday, March 19, led by expert RIHS guides. The walking tour, which progresses at a moderate pace with frequent stops, will last for about 90 minutes, giving participants plenty of time to make it over to the Cable Car Cinema (204 Main St.) for a 3:30 screening of "The Call of Cthulhu," a 47-minute adaptation of the seminal short story. The film is presented by the Lovecraft Arts & Sciences and the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society.
Please note that this page is selling tickets for the walking tour only; tickets for the screening will be sold separately.
All sales are final!
