CJ Alexander is a writer by day and aspiring stand-up comedian by night. He spent the first part of his professional life as a technology entrepreneur, where he learned to keep an audience's attention while leading countless seminars, workshops, and other large group presentations. He started doing comedy in 2008 and has already earned rave reviews in comedy clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest.
July 13 at 8pm: Autumn Ellis with Earl Robinson and Matt Black. $15
Autumn Ellis Being hatched from an egg a couple hundred years ago Autumn soon learned the value of a sense of humor as it took peoples minds off her awkward nature. She was forced to drop out of the Ninja Assassin School at Everest when her clumsiness proved itself incorrigible. Her dream dashed, Autumn took comfort in the drink. It was her search for a rare, canadian whiskey that landed her in a comedy club on open-mic night and the rest as they say "is history".
Earl Robinson has performed at The Comedy Workshop, Punchline Fridays and other Comedy venues around Seattle.
Matt Black (aka Dr. Heckle) started in comedy at the tender age of 12 years old when he began drawing a comic strip for his school paper. After years of drawing and writing "funnies" for various newspapers and magazines, he started the critically acclaimed comedy website "Dr. Heckle" in early 2005.
He has always had an intense passion for making people laugh, so he transformed his absurd and intellectually imaginative joke writing into stand-up comedy. He has quickly made a name for himself all over the northwest because of his original brand and style of humor.
Recognized as one of the hardest working new comics on the scene, you won't want to miss a performance from this up and coming bright star in the world of comedy.
